3. Competition organizers
Society “Dziesmu vācelīte” in cooperation with Slampe Culture Palace and Tukums Region Municipality.
4. Competition goal
To promote the development of singers’ vocal skills and, upon receiving an assessment from a professional jury, to motivate each singer’s further education.
5. Competition tasks
To perform a competition song using a free theme. To popularize the pop, academic and folk genres
6.Participants
Soloists, duets and vocal groups can apply for participation in the competition
Age groups:
4-6 years
7-9 years
(Awarding and GRAND PRIX -200 euros presentation)
10-14 years
15-18 years
19+adult group
(Awarding and GRAND PRIX -200 euros presentation)
7.Repertoire
A participant in the competition with one song. (No time limit) The song can be in any world language A Christmas repertoire would be beautifully performed. Phonograms in MP3 format, a capella or accompanied by a personal musical instrument.
8.Evaluation and awarding
Singers are evaluated by popular singers and musicians Criteria: vocals, technical performance and artistic quality. The evaluation is carried out on a 10-point system. All participants will receive a 1,2,3 place and a 1,2,3 degree diploma. GRAND PRIX-200 euros (1 share for the participant/s in first part) GRAND PRIX-200 euros (2 shares for the participant/s in second part) All participants will receive diplomas, commemorative medals and gifts.
